Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) is feeling insecure about her relationship with Chanel Dupris (Raven Bowens). This is Allie’s first same-sex relationship and she is still kind of feeling things out. Chanel is bisexual and was recently married to Allie’s twin brother Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). After Johnny was forced to dump Chanel, she turned to Allie. But eventually, Johnny revealed that he never stopped loving Chanel. It took Chanel quite a while to make a decision before eventually deciding she wanted Allie.

The fact that it took so long for Chanel to choose between Allie and Johnny definitely plays into Allie’s insecurities. When discussing the situation with her brother Will Horton (Chandler Massey), Allie wondered if Chanel misses being with a man physically. Will turned the conversation and asked Allie the same thing, Allie had to admit she wasn’t sure exactly. But it did convince her that they should take Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) up on his offer to have a threesome.

But Alex will likely take back his offer now that he has laid eyes on Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). He is entirely smitten with Stephanie so he doesn’t seem as interested in pursuing pleasures of the flesh as he was when he first arrived in Salem. Allie and Chanel will be mostly relieved but Allie’s insecurities won’t be resolved. The situation will become even more complicated when Dr. Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) returns to Salem after news about Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) reaches him in Seattle.

Tripp had a hard time accepting Kayla as a stepmother in the beginning but they eventually became very close, with Kayla even serving as a sort of mentor to Tripp as he pursued medical school. She’s been poisoned with a rare disease that will eventually kill her if a cure isn’t found. Tripp will likely need consoling and even though their relationship didn’t work out, Allie and Tripp were still close when he left town. Allie will certainly want to be there for Tripp and in a moment of weakness for both of them, it seems likely the two may have sex. They will probably regret it immediately, but Allie and Chanel’s relationship could go up in flames.
