The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has reached a crossroad. She quit her job at Jabot but still has feelings for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
The recent concocted drama, where Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) baited Diane into verbal responding in Jabot’s main hallway, resulted in two staff exits. Phyllis was mortified that she would be given the boot because of Diane’s behavior and voluntary resignation. But their children laid out a clear plan.
Along with the above, Diane is teased to kiss Jack. As the audience knows, he does feel sympathy for her.

Meanwhile, as drama is unfolding in Genoa City, Wisconsin, one of Phyllis’ get-Diane accomplices is in Los Angeles, California. Melody Thomas Scott’s (Nikki Newman) Y&R character crossed over to sister show, The Bold and the Beautiful, to meet with her ex-husband, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).
Devoted fans had their memories refreshed, and newer viewers were informed about Nikki’s colorful history with Deacon. He was part of Nikki’s life more than a decade ago in real-time when Nikki jumped off the wagon.
Deacon became romantically involved with Diane and helped her to stage a fake murder. Nikki’s implication in that non-crime is the basis for her wanting to rid GC of Diane and the reason why she crossed over to B&B.
Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Does Not Want To Get Involved
Jack did want to romantically reconnect with Phyllis in the recent past. But he was hurt by her renewed obsession with Diane.
Phyllis, while still heading The Grand Phoenix, allowed her latent contempt of Diane to interfere with common sense. At one point in the plot, Phyllis decided to tell Diane about a recommitted connection with Jack as a means of marking what was referred to as territory.
Jack was appalled that Phyllis would use him in her battle with Diane and cut Stafford’s character off. That sparked Phyllis’ alliance with Nikki and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to get Diane using any means possible.

Diane claims to have been living a modest life in California, where she is said to have worked in real estate. But daytime is not about the mundane, which Nikki is counting on as she continues to dig.
Fans are awaiting potentially damaging intel from Diane’s past being exposed while also focusing on Jack’s response to her current romantic move on Y&R.
