General Hospital Spoilers – Why Wouldn’t Ava Jerome Cassadine Want To Go Home?
Before she was gruesomely attacked at the Quartermaine picnic, Ava wasn’t staying at Wyndemere. Ever since she found out her doting husband had slept with his son, Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) girlfriend, Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), she’s been processing his infidelity from a distance and taking up residence at the Metro Court Hotel. Understandably, Ava’s dreams of a marriage built on trust—even if it wasn’t there from the beginning—have been decimated.
Still, Ava has to use caution when deciding what her next step should be. Considering that she was the last person to see Esmé alive before the the seductress’ tumble off the parapet as they fought, Ava could be on the hook for attempted—or actual—murder. By taking up a room at the Metro Court and not cohabitating with her husband, people may start to grow curious about what happened.
GH Spoilers — The Attack Isn’t What’s Stopping Her From Going Home
The truth is, Ava is still reeling from heartbreak, despite her other injuries. We’re not sure how she’s holding up at GH without her regular flight of martinis to numb the pain of what Nik has done to her, but one thing’s for sure—Ava’s wounds never heal quickly. She might look dressed to impress on the outside again soon, but she won’t be letting Nikolas forget what he’s done.

Fortunately, Ava is well-liked in Port Charles, even if her past is a bit checkered. She hasn’t a shortage of friends. Some might say her best friend is budding adult and gallery employee Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), but Trina is living at the PCU dorms and hardly able to host a live-in guest—not that the accommodations would be up to Ava’s standards.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has already offered to let Ava stay at her condo, which ironically used to be Ava’s place. But Ava was hesitant to accept the offer to stay in familiar surroundings, even from a dear friend. Why? It’s likely because Ava’s homesick, but she’s not prepared to admit she’s also heartsick—for her husband. Yes, we’ve seen Ava’s marriage to Nik soften her vengeful side, and that just may be what brings her back to him.
